Description
Sandpaper on roll Grit P120 10cm x 5 meters is intended for sanding (untreated) wood. I have sandpaper on a roll in the grits: P180, P150, P120, P100, P80 and P60.
Sanding by hand
A sander is a solution for large surfaces. However, for precise work or small corners, hand sanding is often the best solution.
To prepare
Before sanding furniture, it is important that you always remove the old layer first. This can be done with Borma Wachs stripper. Subsequently, making the surface free of grease is important. If you skip degreasing and start sanding straight away, your sandpaper will fill up quickly and your consumption will be much higher. In addition, you run the risk of sanding the grease into the surface instead of out, resulting in a bumpy surface.
Rudeness
The different grits of sandpaper determine the finish of the wood. The lower the number of the sandpaper, the coarser the grit. Determining the grit of your sandpaper is very dependent on the surface you want to sand. Take a good look at the surface: how deep are the scratches and how smooth should the surface be? Determine the coarseness of the sandpaper based on the surface.
