Description
Boiled linseed oil colorless from Borma Wachs is filtered and cooked according to traditional recipes. It is ideal for the preparation of oil pigments. This boiled linseed oil is resin free. It gives a soft and bright finish on raw or stripped wood. Penetrates deep into the wood grain. It has a clear and natural effect, but is not shiny.
Also recommended as sealer for terracotta and other porous surfaces before washing treatment. The treated surface will be soft and delicate and it will be necessary to re-treat it regularly to maintain its natural beauty.
Instructions
– To make application easier, dilute the oil with turpentine (30%) before the first layers
– Apply evenly with a clean cloth. After 20 minutes, remove excess product to prevent the surface from becoming tacky
– Repeat the process for at least four coats, each at least 24 hours after the last, gradually reducing the amount of thinner
– For the final coating, use undiluted oil and remove excess product again
– Wipe the surface with steel wool “0000” to increase the shine.
