Chalk paint for furniture color Coral Red from Borma Wachs is a washable, eco-friendly and professional water-based chalk paint with 100% natural pigments. My chalk paint is suitable for both furniture and on the wall and I have no fewer than 25 different colors in stock!
The appearance of chalk paint is very matte. Chalk paint is mainly used on furniture for an authentic, lived-in look. However, you can also use chalk paint on your wall. Due to the use of natural pigments in an extra high dose, chalk paint has a very deep, intense and full color.
This chalk paint can be applied directly without sanding or using a primer. Degreasing the surface is sufficient.
Chalk paint shows worn spots faster than lacquer paint. To prevent this, it is possible to provide the chalk paint with a protective layer. Invisible Touch provides a protective layer, while the matt effect of the chalk paint is preserved.
As an indication, an average consumption is between 10 and 12 m² per liter for 1 layer. The actual consumption, however, strongly depends on the subsurface.
In addition to furniture and walls, chalk paint can also be applied to other surfaces such as: cement, wood, stucco and plaster, wallpaper, aluminum, brick and even fabric (lamp shades, etc.).
Chalk paint can simply be applied with a roller or brush. To get a classic chalk effect, it is recommended to apply the paint undiluted and with a long-haired brush. For example with our 9cm wide brush (article 23006). The stripes of the brush give an authentic and warm look to the object to be painted.
Cleaning or updating
You can easily brush away stains on a surface painted with chalk paint. For this you use a slightly damp cloth. It's also easy to touch up minor damage or scratches with an extra coat of chalk paint.
You can store the chalk paint well for about a year after opening. Do this in a dark and frost-free place. Because chalk paint is made on a water basis, it can freeze.
In addition to this chalk paint for furniture color Coral Red I still have 24 other colors in stock!
